Motorcyclist In Grave Condition Following Hit-And-Run Accident

ECHO PARK (CBSLA.com) —A motorcyclist was in grave condition Friday after he was injured in a hit-and-run accident.

According to Los Angeles police, the motorcyclist and the driver of a white sedan were speeding down Sunset Boulevard in Echo Park around 11:30 p.m. Thursday.

The bike and the car reportedly made side-to-side contact and crashed, with the motorcyclist hitting the side of a nearby fire station.

The driver fled the scene and no suspect description was available.

The suspect's car is believed to be a Mitsubishi Lancer or a Toyota Camry, police said.
