Motorcyclist Hit By Train Near 110 Freeway

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) - A motorcyclist was hospitalized Sunday evening with stable vital signs after colliding with a Blue Line train south of downtown.

The crash was reported just after 9 p.m. at 427 Adams Blvd., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department's Margaret Stewart.

The crash remained under investigation but it appeared the motorcyclist crashed into the train, said Sgt. M. Nguyen of the Los Angeles Police Department's South Traffic Bureau.

The gender and age of the motorcyclist were not available.

The track was shut down for an investigation, Stewart said. Traffic in the area was diverted.
