Motorcyclist, 29, Killed In Mission Viejo Crash That Injures 4

MISSION VIEJO (CBSLA.com) - A 29-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash at a Mission Viejo intersection Saturday morning.

The motorcyclist collided with a white Toyota sedan.

Four people in the car were taken to hospitals with minor injuries, according to Lt. Jeff Hallock of the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

The crash, at the signal at Alicia Parkway at Olympiad Road, near Lake Mission Viejo, occurred a little before 5:55 a.m, said Hallock.

The motorcyclist -- identified by the coroner's office as Monica Castorena of Mission Viejo, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Neither Castorena nor the driver of the car was suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, Hallock said.
