Motorcycle Officer Struck By Vehicle In Monterey Park

MONTEREY PARK (CBSLA.com) — An on-duty police officer was injured Monday after he was struck by a vehicle in Monterey Park.

A vehicle struck a motorcycle officer around 7:30 a.m. in the area of Atlantic Boulevard and El Repetto Drive, according to the Monterey Park Police Department.

Police said the officer was transported to USC Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. He is listed in stable condition.

At this time, no other injuries have been reported.

It remains unclear if the officer was on his motorcycle when he was struck by the vehicle.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
