Moreno Valley Man, 63, With Alzheimer's Goes Missing

MORENO VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — Authorities in Moreno Valley are continuing their search for a missing 63-year-old man with Alzheimer's.

Relatives of Ricardo Nava-Alamo told authorities that he was last seen on Jan. 6. He reportedly left his home on Cottonwood Avenue in his purple-colored, four-door, 1992 Honda Accord with California license plate number 3TUE345.

A statement released by the Riverside County Sheriff's Department says an extensive search was subsequently conducted but Nava-Alamo was not located.

Officials said that Nava-Alamo is in the advanced stages of Alzheimer's.

He is five-feet, 10-inches tall, about 180 pounds and has gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue sweater with blue jeans and white shoes.

Anyone with information as to Nava-Alamo's whereabouts is asked to call the Moreno Valley Police Department at (951) 247-8700.
