Dodger Stadium To Host MLB All-Star Game In 2020

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) - The 2020 MLB All-Star Game is reportedly coming back to Los Angeles.

An official announcement by Major League Baseball is expected Wednesday, according to the Orange County Register.

MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred is set to make an announcement from Dodger Stadium, team officials announced Tuesday afternoon, though they wouldn't disclose the topic.

But a tweet Tuesday afternoon from L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti appeared to confirm the report.

The last time an All-Star Game was played at Dodger Stadium was in 1980. The Angels hosted the game in 2010 in Anaheim.
