LAPD Hopes Public Can Help Them Find Missing Woman, 65

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com)  —   The Los Angeles Police Department is hoping the public can help them find a critical missing 65-year-old woman.

Linda Faye Newsome's family is very concerned about her and joining with the LAPD's Foothill division in trying to locate her.

Newsome left her residence in the 11300 block of Terra Vista Way, Saturday, around 10:40 a.m. She has not been seen or heard from since.

The missing woman is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds. When last seen, she was wearing a pink shirt, white pants and possibly mismatched blue shoes.

Her family says Newsome suffers from dementia and requires medication.
