Missing San Jacinto Husband Found Safe In Indio Area

SAN JACINTO (CBSLA.com) — A 35-year-old San Jacinto man was found in good condition in the Indio area Tuesday after his wife feared he may have been kidnapped, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

John Ecker was last seen at his home in the 600 block of East Old Second Street before leaving for work early Monday morning, officials said.

His wife Mira contacted authorities after she got out of bed to find their door wide open, her husband gone and his work boots left in the entry way.

Ecker was located Tuesday morning and reunited with his family after police received a suspicious person report.

The investigation was ongoing. No other details were released.
