Missing Mountain Bikers Located In Angeles National Forest

ALTADENA (CBSLA.com) — Two missing mountain bikers were located Monday in the Angeles National Forest.

The mountain bikers left at 2 p.m. Sunday, and family members reported them missing around 6 p.m. that night, according to the Altadena Sheriff's Department.

Search and Rescue officials were able to reach signal to one of the biker's cell phone, which led the team to the mountains just above Altadena.

The pair was located just after 8:40 a.m. Monday and were hoisted up by a rescue airship around 9 a.m.

Their condition was unknown.
