77-Year-Old Norwalk Man Reported Missing Found Safe In Fullerton

NORWALK (CBSLA.com) — Sheriff's deputies said a 77-year-old man who has been reported missing in Norwalk has been found safe.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Efrain Montoya was last seen around 4 p.m. Friday leaving his home in the 11000 block of Ratliffe Street.

Detectives described Montoya as a Hispanic man who stands 5-foot-6 tall, weighs 170 pounds, has short gray hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a purple polo shirt, blue shorts and black and white tennis shoes.

Montoya suffers from Alzheimer's disease, authorities said.

Authorities on Saturday said Montoya was found about 3:45 a.m. by residents in Fullerton.

"The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department would like to thank everyone involved for their help in reuniting Efrain Montoya with his family," a spokesperson said.
