Public's Help Sought To Locate 76-Year-Old Man Reported Missing In Carson

CARSON (CBSLA.com) — Deputies sought the public's help Wednesday to locate a 76-year-old man who has been reported missing in Carson.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Demetrio Cordero "Metrio" was last seen around 8 a.m. Monday at his home located in the 17800 block of Lysander Drive.

Cordero suffers from advanced stages of Alzheimer's disease. He has gone missing before, and was previously found in downtown Los Angeles.

Detectives described Cordero as a Hispanic man who has short white hair, brown eyes and a goatee. He stands 4-foot-8 tall, weighs 140 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt with blue jeans.
