Metropolitan Courthouse In Downtown LA Evacuated After Report Of Suspicious Device
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Metropolitan Courthouse was evacuated Monday morning after a report of a suspicious device.
The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call just before 9:40 a.m. at the courthouse at 1945 S. Hill St. near downtown LA.
The device was reportedly affixed to the wall with wires sticking out of it, police said.
A bomb squad removed the item, and the scene was given an all-clear around 11:30 a.m.
