Metro Gold Line Resumes Service Near Chinatown After Power Problem
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Service on the Metro Gold Line is returning to normal after a power problem caused major delays north of Chinatown Monday morning.
Metro suspended train service between the Highland Park and Chinatown stations after the problem was reported around 11:30 a.m.
Officials said a portion of the Gold Line's overhead power supply was damaged near the Southwest Museum Station, the cause of which is under investigation.
Some residual delays are expected.
