Mega Millions Ticket Worth $344K Sold In Burbank
BURBANK (CBSLA.com) — A Mega Millions ticket worth more than $344,000 was sold in Burbank, California lottery officials said Saturday.
The ticket worth $344,779 was sold at the Burbank Deli & Market (1414 West Alameda) and matched five of the numbers in Friday's draw. They were: 2, 9, 50, 3, and 73.
The ticket failed to match the Mega number of 12. Had the ticket holder picked the Mega number, he or she would have won the jackpot of $15 million.
The jackpot for next Tuesday's draw now climbs to $20 million.
The Mega Millions game is played in 43 states, Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
