Medical Examiner To Perform Autopsy On Bobbi Kristina Brown

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Officials Monday announced plans to perform an autopsy for Bobbi Kristina Brown.

According to the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office, authorities plan to figure out what exactly caused her death.

On Sunday, 22-year-old Brown passed away at a hospice facility. A family statement revealed she was surrounded by family when she died.

About six months ago, she was placed in a medically induced coma after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Atlanta home on Jan. 31.

Officials explained it will be a difficult and challenging process due to the amount of time that has passed.

Brown was the only daughter of the late Whitney Houston and singer Bobby Brown.
