McDonald's Runs Out Of Fries Seasoned With Gilroy Garlic

SAN FRANCISCO (CBSLA.com) — The latest food sensation to hit the market is apparently right here in California: McDonald's garlic fries.

McDonald's has been testing the fries at four locations in San Francisco. They're so popular in fact the fast-food chain has run out of them.

The company said in a news release that the Gilroy garlic fries would be made available at nearly 250 locations across the Bay Area in August "pending positive customer feedback."

There was no word yet on whether the fries would be coming to the Southland.

Gilroy is just south of San Francisco.
