McDonald's Brings Back Lobster Roll For Summer At Select Locations

OAK BROOK, IL (CBSLA.com) — When you're in the mood for lobster, McDonald's may not be the first place that comes to mind.

But this summer, perhaps it will be, as the Lobster Roll is returning to the menu at select locations.

It's being served for a limited time at 600 McDonald's locations across New England and upstate New York.

This isn't the first time lobster has been on McDonald's menu. They tried it out 10 years ago.

The lobster roll costs $8.99 and is 290 calories.

McDonald's says the roll is made with 100 percent North Atlantic lobster meat.

It will be available through mid-August at participating restaurants in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut (excluding Fairfield County) and the Albany, NY area.
