Would-Be Robber Shot In The Chest By Marijuana Dispensary Guard

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A would-be robber is hospitalized Thursday after being shot by the guard of a West Adams medical marijuana dispensary.

Police say the armed man was shot in the chest by a security guard just after 11 p.m. Wednesday at the West Adams Collective, 4856 West Adams Blvd.

Surveillance video matched up with the guard's account of the shooting, so he has not been arrested, police said.

According to police, the suspect has not yet been charged.
