MANHATTAN BEACH (CBSLA.com) — The Manhattan Beach Police Department says a missing 14-year-old girl has been found safe.

Leah Kritzer had last been seen Sunday at around 6 p.m. in the area of Manhattan Beach Boulevard and Valley Drive.

She was found this evening in San Diego at about 5:43 p.m.

The San Diego Police Department responded to a home after receiving a call from a homeowner who said that Kritzer was at her residence.

Officers said the missing teen was in the company of a 24-year-old man who advised them that he drove to Manhattan Beach Sunday to meet Kritzer who was on an on-line dating website claiming to be 19.

Kritzer reportedly told authorities she was unharmed.

Police said Kritzer ran away several months ago and was later found at a motel.
