Man, Woman Arrested In Fontana Robbery; 1 Suspect Still At Large

FONTANA (CBSLA.com) — A man and a woman are in custody in connection to the strong-arm robbery of a three-time cancer survivor, but a third man suspected in the crime remains at large Tuesday.

Preston McKay, 18, of San Bernardino, and Elyzza Meadows-Camacho, 18, of Bloomington, were arrested last Thursday for their involvement in the March 2 armed robbery and assault of a 52-year-old woman. San Bernardino police say Meadows-Camacho was identified as the getaway driver.

The woman, a three-time cancer survivor, suffered skull fractures and brain trauma in the robbery.

Both McKay and Meadows-Camacho were booked on charges of robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.

A third suspect, 28-year-old Tyler Washington, remains at large and is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees Washington or has information about his location can call local law enforcement or Fontana police at (909) 350-7700.
