Man Wanted In Anaheim Bank Robbery

ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) — Police sought the public's help Friday in identifying a bank robbery suspect.

The robbery occurred around 3 p.m. on May 10 at the East West Bank located inside the Ninety Nine Ranch grocery store, 651 North Euclid Street in Anaheim, officials said.

Bank employees said the man mentioned he had a gun and demanded money before fleeing the scene.

No weapon was seen and no injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, 27 to 30 years old and about 6 feet tall. He was wearing a dark color t-shirt and gray shorts at the time of the crime.

"Witnesses reported that after he fled the bank, the suspect drove away in a black compact vehicle," police said in a statement.
