Man Wanted For Stabbing On Metro Bus

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A man who stabbed two people on a Metro bus in South Los Angeles remains at large Tuesday, authorities said.

The stabbing was reported at 8:56 p.m. Monday in the area of Figueroa Street and East Imperial Highway.

Witnesses told deputies that a man stabbed two people aboard the bus and then exited at Harbor Station, where he took off running, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Transit Services Bureau.

The two people were taken to a hospital and their conditions were not immediately released.

The man was also suspected of attacking another person near the bus stop with a bottle, authorities said. His motive was not clear.
