Man Suspected Of Killing Dies In LA Jail Hanging
LOS ANGELES (AP) — A 68-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder has apparently killed himself at a Los Angeles County jail.
The Sheriff's Department says Li Zhu of Arcadia was found dead Wednesday night at the Twin Towers jail in downtown LA.
The San Gabriel Valley Tribune says deputies found Zhu hanging in his cell.
Zhu was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of fatally stabbing his daughter-in-law, 41-year-old Xiaolin Li, at the Arcadia apartment they shared with her husband.
The Tribune says police think the motive was related to an ongoing family dispute.
