Man Stabbed Outside Newport Beach Convenience Store

NEWPORT BEACH (CBSLA.com) — A man stabbed outside a convenience store in Newport Beach was hospitalized Thursday in serious but stable condition, police said.

The stabbing happened at 17th Street and Irvine Avenue at 3:15 a.m., Newport Beach spokeswoman Jennifer Manzella said.

A woman was questioned but not arrested, according to Manzella. No suspects were being sought.

The circumstances surrounding the stabbing are under investigation, she said.
