Man Stabbed In Fight Outside Huntington Beach Gym

HUNTINGTON BEACH (CBSLA.com) — One man was hospitalized and three other people were taken into custody following a stabbing in front of a Huntington Beach fitness center, police said Monday.

The incident started between two men and a woman in a vehicle and two men walking broke out about 4:15 p.m. Sunday in front of a 24 Hour Fitness located at 303 Third Street, and escalated into a violent confrontation, Huntington Beach police Officer Jennifer Marlatt said.

One of the pedestrians was stabbed, but the wounds were not believed to be life-threatening.

The three people in the vehicle fled the area, but were soon arrested, Marlatt said.

Further details were not immediately released.
