Man Stabbed At Monrovia Park

MONROVIA (CBSLA.com) — Police say an 18-year-old man was stabbed at a Monrovia park Monday.

The victim was with his brother at Rotary Park at California and Lime avenue around 3:30 p.m., Monrovia police Lt. Michael Lee said.

They were approached by three suspects, two of whom attacked the victim and stabbed him in the back, Lee said. The suspects fled the scene on foot.

The victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, he said.

Police haven't confirmed yet whether both parties knew each other.
