Man Shot, Woman Pistol-Whipped In Eagle Rock Home Invasion

EAGLE ROCK (CBSLA.com) — A manhunt was underway Thursday evening for two men suspected of following a woman into her home and shooting a man once inside.

The incident unfolded about 8 a.m. when the woman who lives at the home on Ellenwood Drive arrived home after running errands.

It was then authorities say the men came up behind her, shoved their way inside, pistol-whipped the woman, and shot the man who lives at the home.

Authorities say the suspects took off running with a few items. One was described by police as a white man with blonde hair and the second a black man with black hair.

The shooting victim was transported to the hospital and was expected to survive.

Anyone with more information about the crime was asked to call the Los Angeles Police Department.
