Man Shot To Death Thanksgiving Night In Arleta
ARLETA (CBSLA) — A man was shot to death Thursday at his mother's Arleta home, authorities said.
The homicide was reported about 8:20 p.m. on the 14200 block of Gager Street, according to Officer Mike Lopez at the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Section.
The 26-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Responding officers found the man, later identified as Steven Tang, unconscious and not breathing inside the home. Paramedics performed CPR on Tang but he died at the scene, according to police.
Detectives determined the attack was targeted and not random. Police said Tang had been confronted by the killer inside the home and there was a confrontation between Tang and his attacker.
The suspect was described as a male Hispanic in his 20s, according to police.
