Man Shot, Killed In Boyle Heights; 3 Suspects At Large

BOYLE HEIGHTS (CBSLA.com) — A man was shot and killed while at a Metro station in Boyle Heights and those responsible remain at large, authorities said.

The shooting happened Saturday in the 2300 block of East 1st Street, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Detectives say the victim and three men got into an argument before one suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim "numerous times."

The incident unfolded by the street elevators of the Soto Pax train station.

The victim, described as a black man, was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities said one of the suspects fled westbound on 1st Street.

A detailed description of the suspects was not available.
