2 Men Shot, Child Injured In Mid-City

MID-CITY (CBSLA.com) — Two men were shot and a 3-year-old boy was injured Wednesday in Mid-City.

At least two of the victims were in a vehicle on the 2000 block of South Corning Street when gunfire erupted from a passing car around 7:30 p.m., according to LAPD Officer Norma Eisenman.

The child, whose location during the incident is still being investigated, was cut from glass fragments. He was treated at the scene.

The men were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspects were described as three African-American men.

A motive for the shooting is unknown.
