60-Year-Old Man Killed, Second Wounded After Gunfire Erupts At Victorville Home

VICTORVILLE (CBSLA) – A 60-year-old man was killed and a second man was wounded after at least one gunman opened fire at a Victorville home late Tuesday night.

At approximately 11 p.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff's deputies responded to a home in the 16100 block of Forrest Avenue, where they found one man with multiple gunshot wounds. It's unclear if the victim was discovered inside or outside the home. They then found a second wounded victim inside the residence.

One of the men, identified as Don Grigsby, was rushed to Victor Valley Global Medical Center, where he died within the hour. The second, 37-year-old Gregory Wilburn, was also hospitalized but is expected to survive. It is unclear how the two victims knew each other. Both men were San Bernardino County residents.

A witness told Victor Valley News that several people exited two vehicles, entered the home and opened fire. After the shooting, the suspects fled. That account has not been confirmed by authorities.

Deputies have no suspects in custody and are unsure on a motive. The sheriff's department did not say if investigators believe the shooting was gang-related.

Anyone with information on the shooting should call sheriff's detectives at 909-387-3589.
