Man Shot, Killed In Pasadena

PASADENA (CBSLA.com) – Authorities are investigating the shooting death of a man in Pasadena late Monday night.

Gunshots were reported at 11:36 p.m. in the 400 block of North Marengo Avenue. Officers and Pasadena firefighters responded to find a Hispanic man in his 30s with gunshot wounds, Pasadena police said. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died from his injuries.

The victim was not immediately identified.

It was unclear if the shooting was gang-related, police said. No motive or suspect information was known.
