Armed Man Killed In Palmdale Deputy-Involved Shooting

PALMDALE (CBSLA.com) — An armed man was killed Friday morning in a deputy-involved shooting in the Antelope Valley.

Deputies responded around 3:30 a.m. to a suicidal man in the 4300 block of West Rancho Vista Boulevard in Palmdale, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.

When officials arrived on scene, the confronted a man with a gun and a deputy-involved shooting occurred.

It was unclear what prompted the shooting.

No deputies were hurt.
