Man Killed After Car Slams Into Tree In Rowland Heights

ROWLAND HEIGHTS (CBSLA) — A man was killed early Tuesday after his car hit a tree in Rowland Heights.

The crash was reported at about 3:15 a.m. on Colima Road, near South Brea Canyon Cutoff Road, in front of a Stater Bros. Market.

The crash left a front engine compartment of a four-door Nissan mangled from its impact into the tree. The man was declared dead at the scene.

Speed is believed to have been a factor in the crash.
