Man Killed After Fire Erupts In Fullerton Home

FULLERTON (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Friday investigated the circumstances surrounding a deadly house fire in Fullerton.

According to the Metronet Fire Department, crews were sent shortly after 1:00 a.m. to a home located in the 800 block of North El Dorado Drive for report of an active structure fire.

Upon their arrival, authorities located the body of an adult man inside the bedroom.

Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending family notification.

A preliminary investigation revealed the victim lived at the home with his wife. She was not home when the fire broke out.

No other injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
