Man In Critical Condition Following Santa Clarita Valley Crash

SANTA CLARITA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Friday said a man was in critical condition following a major traffic collision in the Santa Clarita Valley.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said in a statement that the 12:55 p.m. accident occurred on Copperhill Drive.

According to preliminary information, a Ford Fusion traveling eastbound collided with a Honda Civic.

The statement said the driver of the Honda was taken to an area hospital where he was listed in "severe critical condition."

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
