Man In Critical Condition After Pomona Shooting

POMONA (CBSLA.com) — A 24-year-old man was shot and critically wounded early Sunday morning, Pomona police said.

Officers found Alex Noriega suffering from several gunshot wounds following a 3:55 a.m. shooting attack in the 800 block of Monterey Avenue, Pomona police Sgt. Brian Hagerty told City News Service. Noriega was flown to a hospital, and was listed in critical condition, although his life signs are stable.

Pomona police detectives ask that anyone with information on the shooting call 909-620-2085.
