Man Gunned Down In Palmdale Succumbs To His Wounds

PALMDALE (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a man who was shot multiple times died in Palmdale early Sunday morning.

The incident unfolded just after 1:30 a.m. at 70th Street East south of East Avenue M, according to Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies.

It was then that authorities say they responded to a medical rescue call.

When they arrived, they found the victim - a white male adult - who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputies have not released any suspect information.

The investigation is underway.
