Man Found Dead At Alhambra Apartment Complex Identified; Person Of Interest Arrested

ALHAMBRA (CBSLA.com) — A 35-year-old man who was found dead at an apartment complex in Alhambra has been identified, officials said Monday.

According to the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office, Francisco Marin, who is believed to have been homeless, was located in the 800 block of West Marino Avenue on Thursday morning.

Upon their arrival to the apartment complex, officers located Marin's body lying on a walkway. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. An autopsy will be performed to determine his cause of death as his body shows no signs of physical injury.

A preliminary investigation revealed a fight had occurred in the area.

According to police, Michael Osuna, 26, has been identified as a person of interest in the case. Osuna was arrested shortly after 4 a.m. on suspicion of murder.

He is being held on $1 million bail and is scheduled to be arraigned later today.
