Man Files Suit After Allegedly Getting Hurt While Building Tongue-Shaped Slide For Miley Tour

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A man is suing a Santa Fe Springs-based equipment supply company after he allegedly got hurt while helping to build a fabricated tongue-shaped slide for a Miley Cyrus tour.

Charles Nicholas Sarris filed the negligence complaint against ShowFX Inc. in Los Angeles Superior Court. He is seeking unspecified damages.

Sarris, who was hired to assist ShowFX employees, was working at the company's plant on Feb. 3 when equipment, tools, boxes and platforms provided to him failed.

He fell, which caused him to suffer serious injuries, according to the complaint.

The suit states that ShowFX did not warn Sarris of any of the potential dangers.
