Man Drowns At Zuma Beach

MALIBU (CBSLA.com) —  A 66-year-old man who suffered an unknown medical emergency while swimming at Zuma Beach died Monday.

Lifeguards pulled the man from the water's edge about 3:45 p.m. and performed CPR to no avail, according to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The victim, whose name has not been released, died at the scene.

A coroner's office investigator has been dispatched to the scene.
