Man Doused With Gasoline And Set On Fire During Argument

VALLEY GLEN (CBSLA.com) —   Authorities said a man was doused with gasoline Thursday evening in the Valley Glen area during an argument.

The attack happened on Woodman Avenue.

KCAL9's Brittney Hopper reported from the scene hours after it happened and police and fire department officials were investigating.

The LAPD told her an argument broke out between two men.

One man doused the other with gasoline and set him on fire, police said.

Neighbors heard an explosion and then said they saw the fire spread to a nearby carport.

Both men were taken to a hospital.

Hopper described one, presumably the man set ablaze, as in "very, very serious condition."
