Man Dies After Shooting At Jack In The Box Restaurant

EL MONTE (CBSLA.com) — A man died Friday night after a shooting at a Jack in the Box restaurant in El Monte, authorities said.

Reports differed late Friday on whether the man was an employee of the restaurant in the 9200 block of Flair Drive, near the San Bernardino (10) Freeway, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.

The man died at a hospital shortly after the shooting reported at 7:50 p.m.

Sheriff's homicide bureau detectives were dispatched to assist El Monte police in the shooting investigation.
