Man's Body Dumped In Anaheim Industrial Park

ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) — Police are searching for suspects in connection with a man's body that was dumped in an Anaheim industrial park Monday morning near Angel Stadium.

According to Anaheim police, the man -- in his 20s or 30s -- was found dead around 6:30 a.m. near a dumpster in the 1600 block of Sinclair Street, a few blocks from Angel Stadium. The victim was discovered by an employee who works in the area.

A surveillance camera on the side of a nearby building reportedly captured video of an SUV pulling up and a suspect dropping off the body. Raymond Berry, an Anaheim businessman who owns the building on which the camera was placed, described the video to CBS2.

"It was pretty dark, but it looked like it was a suburban style vehicle," Berry said. "It had no license plates on it."

"It (the camera) showed him (the suspect) getting out and starting to do it, and then it's on a 10-second frame, if there's no motion, it kicks off for 10 seconds," Berry explained. "It kicked off for the part when he was removing the body, and it went back on when he was pulling away."

Detectives said the victim suffered obvious trauma, but no weapon was found at the scene. The camera shows the suspect in the darkness wearing a rain suit.

The victim was not immediately identified. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about this case has been urged to contact Orange County Crime Stoppers at 855-TIP-OCCS.
