Man Critical After Being Shot In Chest On South LA Street

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — One man was critically wounded Sunday during an altercation involving four men on a street in South Los Angeles, police said.

The shooting occurred around 5:15 p.m. at the intersection of Avalon Boulevard and 90th Street, said Los Angeles Police Lt. Peter Gamino.

The gunman remains at large, said authorities.

The man who was shot in the chest is in critical condition, said police.

Two of the other men involved in the altercation reportedly suffered graze wounds.

All four men are in their 30s, police said.
