Man Carrying 3 Skateboards Wanted In Carjacking In Rancho Cucamonga

RANCHO CUCAMONGA (CBSLA.com) — Police asked for the public's help Tuesday to find a skateboard-toting suspect police say carjacked a woman at gunpoint.

The carjacking happened about 2:20 p.m. Monday at a parking structure across from 12343 S. Main St. in Rancho Cucamonga, police said.

A woman had just parked in the structure and was walking away when a man approached, threatened her with a handgun and ordered her to give him the car keys. The woman complied and was not injured, police said.

The man was last seen driving out of the parking structure in the victim's Toyota Highlander, which was found several hours later in Ontario.

The suspect, who remains at large, was described as a white man, 20-30, wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans, a black backpack with two skateboards attached and a red skateboard in his hand. He was also seen in the area of Day Creek Boulevard and Church Avenue, police said.
