Man Booked On Suspicion Of DUI In Huntington Beach After Car Found On Sand

HUNTINGTON BEACH (CBSLA.com) —  A 27-year-old man was booked on suspicion of drunken driving in Huntington Beach early Sunday morning after his car was discovered on the sand.

Huntington Beach Police Department officers came upon the sedan near Lifeguard Tower 4 at 12:30 a.m. near downtown Huntington Beach, the police department said.

James Demongen of Lomita was booked on suspicion of drunken driving. He was one of seven people booked on suspicion of drunken driving in Huntington Beach over the course  of the night, police said.
