Man arrested for allegedly stabbing father to death in Monrovia
A man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his father to death in February.
The original incident happened on Feb. 22 at an apartment in the 100 block of W. Olive Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
While circumstances were limited for nearly a week of the investigation, detectives revealed that the suspect, 29-year-old Arturo Gonzalez Jr., was the son of the victim, Arturo Gonzalez Sr., on Wednesday.
Hours later, they announced that Gonzalez had been taken into custody. They did not release details on how or where he was arrested.
Investigators are still working to determine a motive in the stabbing.
