Man Arrested In Molestation Of Boy At Mall In Industry

INDUSTRY (CBSLA.com) — A man has been arrested on suspicion of molesting a 9-year-old boy at Puente Hills Mall in Industry.

Richard Camarena, 45, was taken into custody Saturday at a home in Claremont, according to Deputy Kimberly Alexander of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

The victim reported that a man inappropriately touched him in a restroom at the mall about 6:50 p.m. July 8, Alexander said.

Camarena was booked on suspicion of committing lewd acts with a child.

He was held on $100,000 bail and is due in court in Pomona on Tuesday.
