Man Allegedly Tried To Run Over 2 San Bernardino Police Officers With SUV

SAN BERNARDINO (CBSLA.com) — Police have arrested a man accused of trying to run over two San Bernardino police officers.

Investigators say it happened around 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of East Pumalo Street.

The officers heard an engine revving and saw a black BMW SUV speeding towards them as they crossed the street.

The officers got out of the way before hopping into their patrol car and chasing the suspect down.

The pursuit ended in a parking lot in the 2300 block of North Osbun Road.

The officers arrested Terrance Jamal Cummings, 27, of San Bernardino.

He faces attempted murder charges.
